HYDERABAD: The Telangana Marriage Bureau Mediators Welfare Association (TMBMWA) grandly celebrated its 5th anniversary at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. The event served as a grand platform to honor outstanding operators in the marriage bureau sector, achievers from various fields, and individuals prominent in social service with prestigious awards.

Organized under the leadership of TMBMWA Founder and State President Burra Srinivas Goud, the ceremony was attended by several ministers, public representatives, and celebrities from the film and social sectors, who presented the awards to the winners. A major highlight shared during the event was the remarkable achievement of the association’s members, who successfully facilitated more than 1,800 marriages across the state in just one year.

Prestigious Awards and Recognition
During the celebrations, 280 awards were distributed across seven distinct categories, including:

  1. Sri Mahanandi Award
  2. Gautama Buddha Seva Ratna Award
  3. Nataraj Award
  4. Marriage Bureau Icon Award
  5. Marriage Bureau Ratna Award
  6. Best Seva Ratna Award
  7. Shrama Shakti Award

Members actively participating in social service and setting an example for society were specially congratulated. A special video showcasing TMBMWA’s successful five-year journey was also screened.

Dignitaries Speak
Speaking on the occasion, Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Dr. Banda Prakash lauded the services of the association. He congratulated all the members for playing their part in community service and assured government support in resolving the issues faced by marriage bureau operators.

TMBMWA President Burra Srinivas Goud stated that the primary objective of the association is to bring all marriage bureaus in Telangana under one umbrella, ensure professional respect for them, and support society through welfare activities. He emphasized that the organization is growing stronger through unity, service mindedness, and mutual cooperation. He also requested the government to address the grievances of the association members, who are playing a vital role in building a better society.
