The team behind the upcoming film ‘Vedavyas’ paid a visit to the famous Khairatabad Maha Ganapati in Hyderabad to seek divine blessings. Produced by former MLA and KPRIT Educational Institutions Chairman Kommuri Pratap Reddy under the Sai Pragathi Arts banner, the prestigious project is directed by acclaimed filmmaker S.V. Krishna Reddy and presented by K. Achi Reddy.
The movie unit performed special prayers at the pandal. Producer Kommuri Pratap Reddy, director S.V. Krishna Reddy, presenter K. Achi Reddy, lead actor Pidugu Viswanath, co-producer Medapati Srinivas Reddy, and senior journalist Prabhu, among others, were present. On this occasion, producer Pratap Reddy presented a donation cheque to the organizers of the Khairatabad Ganesh Utsav Samithi.
Speaking after the darshan, producer Kommuri Pratap Reddy expressed his joy at visiting Khairatabad Ganesh with the entire team. He praised S.V. Krishna Reddy for helming the film brilliantly and announced that they plan to release it in theaters very soon. Director S.V. Krishna Reddy conveyed his wishes for the Almighty’s blessings upon everyone, while presenter K. Achi Reddy noted that the director has crafted a heartwarming movie tailored to contemporary family audiences.
Lead actor Pidugu Viswanath shared that the story bridges ancient traditions with modern times, highlighting the importance of the Vedas and Indian culture in today’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) era to strongly resonate with Gen-Z. He expressed gratitude for making his acting debut under the direction of a legendary filmmaker like S.V. Krishna Reddy and prayed for success in establishing himself as a fine actor in the coming year.
