MALLAMPALLY, Mulugu – The DNR Trust Pratibha Awards Ceremony, held at Zilla Parishad High School, Mallampally, on February 14, 2025, recognized and celebrated the achievements of talented students from government schools across Mulugu Mandal. Headmaster Vajja Tirupati presided over the event, which was led by DNR Trust Founder Dodda Pratap Reddy.
District Educational Officer of Mulugu, G. Panini, graced the occasion as the chief guest and commended the DNR Trust for their ongoing commitment to supporting education. “The DNR Trust’s initiative to financially assist bright students in government schools is truly commendable,” stated Panini. “Their support ensures that underprivileged children have access to quality education and can pursue higher studies without financial constraints. The trust’s dedication to encouraging students to reach their full potential is praiseworthy.” He specifically highlighted the awarding of laptops to students gaining admission to IIT Basara and the cash prizes for top-performing Class 10 students across Mulugu and Venkatapur Mandals, as well as Devagiri Patnam.
Eleven students, comprising four first-prize winners (₹3000), four second-prize winners (₹2000), and three third-prize winners (₹1000), were presented with cash awards, certificates, and medals. A student from Bandarupalli Model School, who secured a seat at IIT Basara, also received a laptop.
Dodda Pratap Reddy, Founder of the DNR Trust, emphasized the trust’s dedication to strengthening government schools in the Mulugu region. “The DNR Trust continuously strives to support talented students in every possible way,” Reddy said. “In line with the New Education Policy, we are committed to developing and implementing educational programs that promote quality learning. We are dedicated to fostering academic excellence through innovative initiatives.” He expressed gratitude to the District Educational Officer, Mandal Educational Officers, headmasters, teachers, and DNR Trust members for their contributions.
The event witnessed the presence of prominent figures including District Educational Officer G. Panini, Mandal Educational Officer of Mulugu Samala Srinivas, Samagra Shiksha Coordinators Katam Mallareddy, Arsham Raju, Gollapalli Sambayya, Saikam Srinivas Reddy, Dr. Kandala Ramaiah, and Gunde Boyina Mallayya. School headmasters, teachers, CRPs, parents, award recipients, and members of the community also attended, all praising the DNR Trust’s invaluable service to education in the region.
For the past 15 years, the DNR Trust has been actively involved in providing basic infrastructure to government schools, along with essential learning materials like notebooks, study guides, and workbooks. Their efforts have significantly contributed to establishing a strong foundation for quality education in Mulugu, transforming it into a hub of academic excellence.
