AP Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishna Raju Attends as Chief Guest
Vijayawada: Blending traditional culture with modern entertainment, ‘Raga Dandiya Utsav 2.0’ concluded in grand style in Vijayawada, filling the city with festive spirit and cultural vibrancy. Jointly organised by Vibe Events and Vega Jewellers, a prominent luxury jewellery brand, the cultural celebration was held at S.S. Convention Hall. Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishna Raju attended the event as the chief guest. The organisers welcomed him with traditional aarti and a ceremonial tilak. He appreciated the initiative, noting that such celebrations brought together devotion, culture and entertainment during the Dasara Navaratri festivities in the city of Kanaka Durga.
The energetic dance performances by renowned choreographer and Bigg Boss fame Uday Master and his team emerged as a major highlight of the event. The convention hall reverberated with the beats of DJ music and Punjabi dhol, while youngsters, women and families dressed in traditional attire enthusiastically participated in Dandiya and Garba dances. Residents expressed happiness over the opportunity to unwind from their daily personal and professional pressures and spend quality time with family and friends.
The event also featured food stalls serving local delicacies, special mocktail counters, face painting, colourful bangle stalls, magnetic photo booths, selfie points and various traditional competitions, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Speaking on the occasion, Vega Jewellers Managing Director Naveen Vanama thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the celebration. He highlighted the spirit of unity associated with Navaratri and the importance of bringing people together through cultural events.
Vega Jewellers Executive Director Sudhakar Vanama said the event was organised with the aim of preserving Indian culture, traditions and values while strengthening the brand’s bond with the people of Vijayawada.
