GTA Expands Global Reach with New Jersey and New York Chapters

The Telangana Global Association (GTA) celebrated a significant milestone in July with the vibrant launch of its New Jersey and New York chapters, furthering its mission to promote Telangana’s rich culture and traditions worldwide. The grand event, attended by Parsippany Mayor James R. Barberio as the chief guest, showcased the spirit of Telangana through captivating folk music, dance, and community engagement.

A Warm Welcome and Leadership Transition

GTA Founders Alumula Malla Reddy (India Chairman) and Vishweshwar Reddy (USA Chairman) warmly welcomed dignitaries, including Mayor Barberio, who congratulated the organization on its global outreach. The event marked the election of Kapidi Srinivas Reddy as President of the newly formed New Jersey and New York chapters. In his address, Srinivas Reddy expressed his commitment: “Being part of GTA is an honor. I am dedicated to expanding its initiatives not only in the U.S. but across the globe.”

The launch was graced by prominent figures, including TTA USA President Naveen Reddy Mallipeddi, GTA USA President Bapu Reddy, Charles Chapter Director Manmohan, NJ AICA representatives Mahender Reddy Musugu and Prithvi Reddy, and Washington DC President Thirumal Reddy.

A Vision for Global Impact

Alumula Malla Reddy, GTA Founder and India Chairman, highlighted the organization’s rapid growth: “In just three years, GTA has expanded to 43 countries. This December, we plan a grand convention in Hyderabad, led by Vishweshwar Reddy and our team. Our goal is to connect every Telangana NRI to their native village, encouraging them to become brand ambassadors for their hometowns and drive local development with community leadership. We are empowering youth while preserving our traditions.”

Vishweshwar Reddy, GTA Co-Founder and USA Chairman, emphasized the organization’s unifying vision: “GTA was launched to bring Telangana NRIs together on a single platform to contribute to our state’s development. In three years, we’ve grown to 43 countries, fostering connections in education, healthcare, employment, and culture.”

Collaborative Efforts and Future Plans

Naveen Reddy, TTA USA President, expressed pride in collaborating with GTA: “As TTA celebrates its 10-year anniversary on December 10 in the USA and December 25 in Hyderabad, we look forward to the GTA Convention in Charles next July. We invite everyone to join us in this celebration of Telangana’s spirit.”

Shravan Reddy, GTA Co-Founder, underscored the significance of the new chapters: “The launch of the New Jersey and New York chapters is a pivotal step. GTA is becoming a powerful platform for NRIs worldwide, and we are committed to expanding our service-oriented initiatives further.”

In just three years, GTA has grown into a global force, operating in over 43 countries and championing education, healthcare, employment, women’s empowerment, cultural preservation, and rural development in Telangana. Led by Vishweshwar Reddy and Malla Reddy, GTA is more than an organization—it’s a social movement and a service system dedicated to amplifying the voice of every Telangana citizen worldwide.

With plans to expand its impact globally, GTA aims to provide a unified platform for Telangana NRIs to stay connected to their roots and contribute meaningfully to their homeland’s progress.
