Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – The Indian Welfare Forum (IWF) (Jeddah Western Region) extended a heartfelt welcome to Tamil Nadu’s Hajj pilgrims upon their arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah.

Volunteers provided essential assistance, including guidance on accommodation, transportation, and initial Hajj procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for the pilgrims. The team also distributed refreshments and offered moral support to the travellers embarking on their spiritual journey.

 

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia | May 16, 2025 – Demonstrating exceptional dedication, volunteers from the Indian Welfare Forum (IWF) provided comprehensive support to 844 Tamil Nadu Hajj pilgrims arriving on the first flight from Chennai. Beyond warm welcomes, their hands-on assistance made a tangible difference for travellers embarking on their spiritual journey.

At the Jeddah airport, the volunteers of the Indians Welfare Forum (IWF) not only welcomed the Hajj pilgrims with warm smiles but also extended wholehearted assistance in various ways. They helped elderly pilgrims by transporting them in electric carts and guiding them to the railway station, successfully helped recover a pilgrim’s lost passport by coordinating with airport authorities, located and retrieved misplaced luggage for multiple travellers

IWF Volunteers Go the Extra Mile in Hajj Pilgrim Assistance, Working Through the Night

Demonstrating extraordinary commitment, Indian Welfare Forum (IWF) volunteers provided round-the-clock assistance to Hajj pilgrims at King Abdulaziz International Airport, continuing their support services until 2:30 AM to ensure every traveller’s needs were met. Personalized Pilgrim Guidance by escorting pilgrims to their designated train coaches on the Haramain High-Speed Railway, assisted in locating and accessing assigned room numbers at accommodation facilities.

The volunteers’ tireless efforts underscore IWF’s mission to provide holistic support throughout the Hajj journey, addressing both major logistical needs and personal concerns.

 

Furthermore, when our Hajj pilgrims arrived in the holy city of Makkah, the IWF Makkah branch officials warmly welcomed them, guided them, and assisted in transporting them to their respective accommodations.
