Hyderabad: While diligently handling government duty as an employee, Gaikwad Tulsidas Mang has also been serving society, he received the Telangana Icon Award 2024. The award was presented by Telangana Language and Culture Department in association with Telangana Voice Studio, Telangana Theatre, and Media Repertory during an event held at Ravindra Bharathi to mark the release of the 25th edition of Big Reels Cinema weekly magazine. The award was handed over by TGIIC Chairperson Smt. Nirmala Jagga Reddy and Language and Culture Department Director Sri Mamidi Harikrishna, who honored Gaikwad Tulsidas Mang with the Telangana Icon Award 2024.
Gaikwad Tulsidas Mang, who serves as a Section Officer at the Secretariat, the highest administrative office in Telangana, also founded the ‘Mang Samaj Telangana’ organization to raise awareness among the people. Additionally, he established the TSCSTEHHA Helping Hands Charity, which provides financial assistance to underprivileged poor talented students for their higher education under the “Pay Back to Society” concept. Many praised Gaikwad Tulsidas Mang’s social services. Expressing his gratitude to B. Ramesh Kishan Goud, President of Telangana Theatre and Media Repertory, Gaikwad Tulsidas Mang said that the award has motivated him and further increased his sense of social responsibility in serving society.
