TDF Champions Youth Engagement and Drug Prevention Through Premier Cricket League

Telangana Development Forum (TDF – USA) recently spearheaded the “Youth Force Premier Cricket League” in collaboration with the “Youth Force” organization, aimed at empowering college youth in Hyderabad while advocating for a drug-free society. Under the banner of the TDF Arogyaseva project, the initiative strives to foster a healthier environment by promoting sports and cultural engagements among the youth.

Matta Rajeshwar Reddy, President of TDF India, emphasized the significance of the endeavor, affirming TDF’s commitment to combat substance abuse and promote holistic well-being in Telangana. The event drew participation from 20 teams representing various engineering, degree, and medical colleges across Hyderabad, attracting a total of 450 enthusiastic young individuals to partake in diverse sporting activities facilitated by the Youth Force Premier League.

The official launch of the event was marked by the unveiling of its poster, orchestrated by Sandeep Sandilya, Director of TSNAB (Anti-Narcotics Bureau of Telangana). Notably, a forthcoming program titled “Discussion with Real Hero” is scheduled to take place at Q-City on March 17, with Sandeep Sandilya gracing the occasion as the esteemed chief guest.

Youth Force Chairman A. Vinil underscored the organization’s commitment to nurturing a positive environment by fostering a culture of sports and cultural pursuits, thus deterring youth from the allure of substance abuse. As part of their ongoing efforts, Vinil expressed intentions to organize similar programs to further engage the youth in constructive activities.
