Jeddah Kerala Pauravali Unveils New Logo in a Grand Ceremony

Jeddah: In a vibrant and emotionally charged ceremony, the Jeddah Kerala Pauravali officially unveiled its new logo, symbolizing unity, empowerment, and cultural pride. The event, held in Jeddah, showcased the organization’s growing prominence within the Malayali community.

The unveiling was performed by distinguished Indian industrialist and philanthropist, Mr. V. P. Mohammed Ali, adding prestige to the occasion. Representatives from all fourteen districts of Kerala graced the event, highlighting the Pauravali’s wide reach and inclusive spirit.

Speaking at the event, Jaleel Kannamangalam, an office-bearer of the Pauravali, explained that the logo’s colours reflect the essence of both Saudi Arabia and Kerala, embodying the spirit of connection, empowerment, and friendship. Designed by renowned graphic artist Mr. O. B. Nassar, the logo thoughtfully captures the vision and values of the Jeddah Kerala Pauravali.

Mr. V. P. Mohammed Ali praised the organization’s efforts, stating that the activities of the Pauravali serve as a model for other community organizations around the world.

The program was presided over by Kabir Kondotti, Chairman of the Jeddah Kerala Pauravali, while General Secretary Mansoor Wayanad extended a warm welcome to the attendees. Treasurer Shareef Arakkal presented the financial report, outlining the organization’s achievements and upcoming initiatives.

• Nasser Chavakkad (Training)

The event also reviewed the Pauravali’s ongoing anti-drug campaign and discussed comprehensive plans for future activities.

A special highlight was the honouring of Dr. Shibu Thiruvananthapuram, Patron of Jeddah Navodaya and an esteemed educator who earned his doctorate in Education and Society from Ghana University. Dr. Shibu was recognized for his significant academic and community contributions.

Participants of the Spontaneous 2025 training program received certificates of appreciation. The trainers — M. M. Irshad, Rashid Amir, Sajith A. M., and Kabir Kondotti — were also presented with awards for their valuable contributions.

The cultural segment brought an additional layer of vibrancy to the evening. Members of the Pauravali, including Mirza Shareef, Salim Nilambur, Mumtaz Abdul Rahman, Mohammed Rafi, Simi Abdul Kader, Qasim Kuttiyadi, Sathyan, Suvij Sathyan, Ramees Rafi, Afra Sabin Rafi, Mansoor Wayanad, Hassan Kuttiyadi, Rahim Kakkur, Harris Hussainar, Hafiz Kuttiyadi, Mohammed Ali, and Dr. Mohammed Faisal, delivered a mesmerizing musical performance. A dance presentation by children further energized the gathering.

Sofia Basheer gracefully anchored the proceedings throughout the nearly seven-hour-long celebration. A touching moment was observed when attendees paid heartfelt tributes to the martyrs of Pahalgam, joining in prayers and extending their condolences to the bereaved families and the nation.

Khader Aluva, Nawaz Thangal, Hifzur Rahman, and Rafi Aluva played crucial roles in coordinating the smooth execution of the event.

The successful unveiling and celebration reaffirmed the Jeddah Kerala Pauravali’s commitment to fostering community unity, cultural pride, and social responsibility.
